Thetvdb.com website is down and Oversight scans will hang (due to timeouts too long I think)

If you have started any scans I suggest to reboot your NMT.

The technical among you who love 'uptime' may want to telnet in and kill the awk process followed by the wget process.

Then dont do any rescans until it comes back.

Meanwhile I think this may strengthen my resolve to start using imdb flat files!

I did have a load of code to use epguides.com instead but I had to remove it due to awk memory constraints.

I also dont want to rush out any more code, so we may have to wait this one out!

I rebooted but still appears that it's running a scan (folder 1/2 item 1 in top right.)

Could somebody please add the kill/wget telnet commands for me to try.

Hi, the scan is not running. That is just a left over message.
You can remove this be deleting the file oversight.status in the oversight folder.

I'll make a note that this should be cleaned out automatically..
