sync is not oké. Maybe it should buffer first. I don't know if that is posible.

I'm also suffering from the sync problem... The difference is almost a second I guess... It's terrible to watch programs this way...

First, Thanks to Joris for his good work. I'm not a .net programmer but only c (ni cvi) but I'm realy interested in the code. Can you put it also on your site with an other link?


I have found some problems with the site on my pch A100:
1: The letters are to small to read
2: The sync problem of about 1 seconds
3: Not all broadcasts can be found with your search engine on the home page e.g. if you type in "wie" then Wie is de Mol of 12-3-2009 cannot be found. Only 2 broadcasts of 2009 are showed here (in total 10).
4: Very slow scrolling when more then one page of search results
5: Not all broadcasts do play e.g. if you type in "wie" and then select Wie is de Mol on page 2 date 8-1-2009. If you select play then there is a black screen for 1 second and then again the webpage comes back.

If you could improve this it would be great. Thanks again for the great job.

My experience:
UPNP has to be running to let it work. If you just switch it on, you also need to reset.

I've got it working with the JvdS URL and liking it! Only the quality is poor and sound is out of sync. I've been searching this forum but no solutions?
Two questions:
What canI do on the PC and/or PCH to get good quality streaming?
What can I do to get the sync right?

There must be alternate URL's for Uitzending gemist and RTL gemist, it is used in a demo film for the new "Yormedia" Streamer.

Damn, uitzending gemist on this portal only works with the EMINEM, not with PCH A100 or HDX1000. It says something about EM7071... Can be go around this?

It also work with the eGreat.

Of course jvs/uzg works, but it is not the most prettiest website and it often freezes my PCH, e.g. when I choose NED2, then select the B.

But the "uitzending gemist app" on the Eminent Portal only works on E7070 machines, according to the warning I get.

Joris, thumbs up for your webservice. I saw you already received an offer to style the webservice. I hope you will be able to do so soon . Furthermore, I read that another user experiences issues on the webservice crashing the PCH. I have similar experiences. Could it have something to do with long lists? To improve performance and usability, I suggest you shorten the lists the webservice generates.

If you need any help on creating an improved user experience, I'm happy to help you out, just let me know .

@NMT developers: this is my second day as a user of the product, but it has crashed on three different and seemingly unrelated occasions (once during opening and closing of 'windows' in the PCH, once when trying to view Apple Movie Trailers and once when loading the UZG webservice). Is it possible to somehow insert a thread in the 'box' that periodically checks on availability, so that unresponsive programs may be terminated without resetting the NMT?

Getting inspired by that, I created also a little file with rtsp-url's;

With the channels NOS Journaal 24, Laatste NOS Jourmaal, 101 TV, Cultura TV, Familie 24, Hilversum best, Politiek 24
As you can see, only this first part of the channels does work.

The others; Consumenten TV, Cultura TV, Familie 24, Hilversum best, Humor TV 24, Hollanddoc, Nostalgienet, 2e Kamer,
Spirit 24, Sport 24, RTL Z Livestream, Slam TV, TMF Livestream, Nickelodeon JR, AT5 Amsterdam, Omroep Brabant,
Regio TV Utrecht, RTV Dordrecht etc. doesn't work yet, even when it's a rtsp-url.

The solution for this will be added, i hope soon on;
