Hmm, UZG only works here when I load an episode from the Top 50 menu. When I try to load an episode from the alphabetic list or search I click on Play, but nothing happens. Any else has this problem?

I would love RTL Gemist as a webservice even better. Hope someone can fix this in the near future, it would make a lot of people very happy

It would be great to have Uitzending Gemist and RTL gemist on the PCH A110 this would make this thing complete!

Getting inspired by that, I created also a little file with rtsp-url's;

It all looks great,but all those custom tv channels dont work for me. Also joris his site wont play the video files for me, instead my pcha110a gives me a black screen and stops responding. Am i forgetting some important setting?

Although I have a HDX-1000 and not a Popcorn Hour, I have the same problem. Top 50 works(sometimes, not always...sometimes I get "Illegal Character in Path"...if anyone knows what that problem is, let me know ). Searching / selecting from the list does not work just like in your situation...

Hey all,

I'm able to extract the information from the RTL Gemist website and to put it into a DataBase.
As I'm writing this, I'm still perfecting the process.
In the future, I can probably do this also for more websites like SBS, Uitzendinggemist, etc etc.
The only thing is that I'm not a familiar with programming PHP to read/search in a DB.
Hope there is anyone here who can help me...

I still don't have my C200 yet. So I don't know how the design for the website should be.

Can someone with a A110 and someone with a C200 verify that this link works on their PopCorn?

The result is "could not play". So probably this won't work (or I did something wrong...)

Is that on a A110 or on a C200?

Actually the .wmv is an .asf file.
In the .wmv file the extension will be renamed to .asf.
(You can open the .wmv file with your notepad)

Could you test it also by changing the extension from .wmv to .asf?
So the URL would be like this:

Can someone test it on a C200?
I would like to know if you can continue this project for the C200 owners...

Has anybody succeeded in getting Cultura TV right on the screen? Cultura broadcasts in widescreen (16:9), but NMT 'converts' it to widescreen once more, so on my tv it always looks like this: [[ ]]. And I can not adjust it because the zoom button on NMT doesn't work with this stream (I think this is always the case with RTSP streams).

One more word on UitzendingGemist. I think it's a shame that the dutch tv authorities spend a lot of money to get UZG to work on cell phones and also Windows MCE, but they hate (or have never heard of) NMT.

Extensions wvx & asf instead of wmv doesn't work also...

Today it is officially confirmed (by Werner of Syabas) that the MMS protocol is supported by the PCH C200 !
This means that you can watch RTL Gemist, uitzendinggemist and others on a PCH C200 !


The PCH A-series will never be able to do this, because the sigma chips in these series are not able to support MMS.
If found a -sort of- solution for this. You have to have a PC or Server though.
- Install WAMP and VLC on the PC.
- Build a PHP page for your WAMP-server were you can execute VLC via the command line. (use the exec() command )
- Use a link to the .wmv of the program in that command line.
- direct your PCH to your PHP page on your WAMP-server

VLC is able to stream video's/streams/etc. over a network.

VLC can put an MMS stream to the output of an file or it can Stream that MMS directly to your PCH (with a protocol PCH understands) !

I will try to build a nice clean page where C200 users can watch RTL Gemist/ uitzendinggemist / etc.
But I can use some help from someone with PHP and MySQL experience....
