torrent worked. (services which don't allow easy download like rs _are_ crappy and by easy I mean something so basic as wget http://.../file.rar)

thank you for this torrent that i've tested.

AUDIO
I've tried audio files one by one...
1.DD.vob -> Ok
2.DD-TrueHD.m2ts -> Ok
3.DD+.m2ts -> Ok
4.DD-EX.vob -> Ok
5.DTS.vob -> Ok
6.DTS_96_24.vob -> Ok
7.DTS_MA.m2ts -> Nothing. Black Screen and no sound. so I pressed STOP and retry playing but this time... C200 has refused to play it. And what it was strange is that the C200 wouldn't play any audio other files... Files that worked before.
After rebooting the C200, this file works but with TV interferences.
8. DTSVorbis.mkv -> Ok

BITRATE
All is correct

CALIBRATION
All is correct

SUBTITLES
Embedded -> Ok but impossible to change colour or other config (position...).
External -> Ok but impossible to change colour
ExtTestSRT -> Ok
Amatsuki... -> Ok
Kanngi... -> Ok
Macross... -> Ok
Seto... -> NO Subtitles even on track 1 or 2. No subtitles at all
SSA_15... -> Ok but files says French is on track 4 and I can see it only on track 5??? Mistake or bug?
Zoku... -> Ok

Is it normal???

HD audio in single files is still not supported, Syabas are waiting for a fix from Sigma, so that it does not play is normal, but based on the rest of your description, the error handling is less than ideal.

This is normal. These subtitles (VOBSUB aka sub/idx) are graphics based - each instance of the subtitle is a bitmap picture, and has its own colour from the start. This is why the colour can not be manipulated.

Those are SSA subtitles there in anticipation of the new rendering engine and to show anime fans what the present situation is with regards their complicated subtitle demands.

Chris,

Tested with your dvd bitrate clips. Using an A-200, 10/100 swith and Samba the highest "bird" clip i can stream without stutter is:
38 Mbps M2ts
42 Mbps Mkv

Is this normal? cause you mentioned bitrates >60 Mbps with samba.

No it's not, the speeds I quoted are my personal experience on the C200. Havent tried the A200 via network as its setup with WiFi.

Start a thread to try and find the possible cause.

Disconnected/connected everything and now have 60 Mbps stutter free mkv with Samba.
I think that's a normal value?

Thx a lot, am downloading it by torrent at excellent speed right now (1.7 Mo/s) [EDIT] 3.3 Mo/s right now, LOL, never had such a fast torrent !!

I have no major problems with my A-200, just concerned by judder on 23.976 fps mkv's despite having a new 24p capable TV. May I ask which file is the one with the white line you can check to see if judder is normal or not ?

There are a set of files labelled fps which I don't know if they are in it the test disc.
