So I can run some test as I DO NOT use only the last digit ...

There are three issues ...

One is that the series ....
Started in 1963 and was released in 1975 on video...
The IMDB has it list as 1975 and the TV series site http://www.tvrage.com
site has it listed as 1963 ...

So my code is currently only using the scan year from the IMDB
NOT The update MFO year ...

I have changed my code so on the NEXT release you will need to
do the following for it to work ..

After the scan goto the Pageinfo tab and make sure you have the correct
IMDB number after you make sure it is correct it should be tt0056751.
Then use the update info button and change the year to 1963.

And with my new code when i release it ... and goto the tv series
and clear the info for the Doctor who series that where not correct.

The Click add mfo data and it will update just fine ... I have already tested it today and it works fine with my new code changes ...

Thanks Michael. I ran into another one that has me baffled. House.01x01 - House, M.D. Pilot.mkv somehow gets found as Dark Shadows and crashes the program saying;

What build date are you using ??
As I just tested house.01x01.avi and it works ... fine

I am not getting a error ... I do believe the error you speak of was fixed many revs ago ...

I am using 1.26a. try with the exact filename I am using, House.01x01 - House, M.D. Pilot.mkv. I thought it was the comma at first but removing that didn't help.

On the Main build screen is a build date that is how you know what version
you are using ? What is the Build date?

Please post the exact spelling of the file name ...

House should be named like this :

House.MD.S01E01.mkv

which will work without error ...

How exactly is it named with the error ?

Hello irgaac,

Well there were two problems:

First you named the tv series wrong ...
Second there was a bug that showed up that was causing
my code to error ... I have fixed the bug ... and it no longer errors.

But you will not find the correct series info naming the files like that ...

The other problem is that the IMDB names the series House MD
and the TVrage.com names it House.

Name the Files House.MD.S01E01.mkv
then on the Page Info screen change the Name of the Series from
House MD to House ... for each season ...

then all will work fine ... with the current version you are using ...

Correct Video Naming is important ...

Also as stated on MY Web Page DO NOT Mix Spaces and Periods...
One or the other ...

either name it House MD S01E01 Pilot.mkv or
name it House.MD.S01E01-Pilot.mkv
But Do NOT Name it House.MD S01E01 Pilot.mkv

Or You will get errors on the searches ... I only remove periods from name searches if there are no spaces in the name...

Hi Michael,

Back with some more things for you to look into. I am noticing that TV episodes with non alphanumerics in the title cause the plot information download to skip. An example would be Eureka.S03E16.You.Don't.Know.Jack.mkv, this episode and the 2 following do not get episode names or plots.

Change to all User to Jump to episode ..
I also made a small change to The TV Series Read routine.
