RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
PWRC can hardly be the genuine reason. Actually after PWRC starts playing it can’t affect playing, the player just plays on its own. If the player stops (hangs) for a reason, it can’t probably accept any command at all (including native remote’s ones), it is hanging.
I’m nearly sure any native Play invocation (without PWRC) on the same files set will cause the same result. I would suggest testing on a different FLAC’s set. I found once long file/path names makes the player behavior unpredictable (A110 and C200 at least). The problem was primitive enough (btw the popcorn support was unable to fix, it’s rather syabas related). So if the fullpath+filename length exceeds 256 bytes, the player can stop, hang, accidentally jump to play another file, etc etc….. The filesystem looks allowing 4096 bytes for full file pathnames, but the player has it’s own limitations without an attempt to control the exceptions. |

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
When I play the same folder form the IR remote it is OK - all songs from the same folder with flac files are played. Popcorn do not really hung in the situation I described - it just do not respond on PWRC commands from my mobile. When the playback started from PWRC stop randomly - I can switch TV on and there is white screen with text 'press return'. Wneh I press return I can then go to the folder with IR and start playback.

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
Well, there is a need to reproduce probably.
Is it FLAC type dependent? (the same happens with MP3?) Is it specific FLAC set dependent? (the same happens on a different FLACs set?) Is it mobile dependent? (the same happens while controlling from a desktop PC?) Anyway I would need something to catch at. I could try to reproduce on A100 and C200 only. What I know for sure (trust me I know how PWRC works ;-) ) is: PWRC, after the Play command is invoked, does not control/monotor anything. It just launches the native player and nothing more. So if the player stops, it stops of a non direct PWRC reason. What the reason is – still the question The white screen on the TV is just a PWRC generated page to be able to return to the native remote control. |

But i have no permission to access this File oder Folder I used the FileManager from NMT Community Software Installer Do anyone have a solution? You would have to overwrite the css in the setup (unzipped) package and reinstall on-the-top. The /nmt/apps/web's .css requires root rights to be overwritten; the setup takes care about that. |

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
Hi, when I try to install it and click the pwrc-install.html file, I get "Can not process your request" message on any of the installation location selection option. miHome is running. Why is it doing it?
Cheers, Please disregard my previous message. I found the solution in earlier postings - copied to local HDD and installed from there and it works now. |

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
checklist;
- are all files in the root of your USB ? - do you pinpoint the right device (the usb port) - usb stick formatted to use with pch C200 and A200 both with 1,5 TB Samsung Green, wired 100 Mb LAN. I love those Apps: PWRC, UZG. (a WD caviar green 500Gb gave hang-ups with the C200). Sony 42W5500 with Sony 5.1 Home theatre setup and LG 37LD450. Three External HDD's of 350 Gb (1) and 500 Gb (2) on a different physical location for extra Back-Up. |

It all worked for me when I copied all files from the USB to the root of the HDD and selected the HDD as the installation target. Then deleted the files and voila, I can open the browser and play files now. I found this solution trawling thru this thread. I still wonder why it wouldn't work from the USB though. Cheers, Roman |

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
Hi,
is it possible to add a doctype to the HTML? This is needed for making a CSS skin. And add DIV elements (with css) between each big element? i.e. - navigation - buttons - list - bottom Cheers, Raimond P.S. Great job, the only remote that actually works using: eGreat 32A |

RE: Pure Web Remote Control or Listening Audio with switched off TV
Hi Pompon,
thank you for your fast reply. I had an old firmware version (2 versions ago) and PWRC work. After updating the firmware to the latest version of the January 21, 2013, link PWRC has not been reached. I tried to reinstall PWRC but without success: I copied the entire contents of PWRC (all files) on the main root of my thumb drive. I tried to put it on all four USB ports (two front and two rear). I launched the file "PWRC-install.html" but all I get is always the page of the POP-CORN inviting me to press return and tells me that it is not possible to install the program. |

Could you provide the strict text? Probably you have missed an important (for me) step. The problem is PWRC-install.html is a straightforward html file with the installation source menu. Until an installation source is chosen, there will be no real PWRC installation attempts. On the other hand if the (static) installation source menu is not shown, the problem is beyond PWRC. It's the ability or inability to render HTML files. Also, in order to install, MyiHome server must be running on NMT |
