Does that mean you have to have Snow Leopard or it will also work on Snow Leopard?

I'm at work so I can only verify that it opens in Safari (pointing at localhost), so it seems it works on Mac OSX 10.5.8 too. If no-one else chimes in I'll try it out later tonight with my C-200.

It still doesn't work at all for me!!!

The mac shows up in the sources overview. Then when I select it you have the spinner spinning for a few minutes and then the error message "could not process request"

Mac: MacOSX 10.5.8

Did you check your Mac's firewall?

It just doesn't seem to do anything. Its there in the Dock but not doing anything. Unlike the version on my Vista Media Centre PC in the lounge which shows all the media folders.

AFAIK the Mac version doesn't have a "server" GUI. Just run it and then go to your TV and check if myiHome is there among the network sources (you might have to add it to your Mac firewall exceptions).

If you for some reason need to edit configuration I assume you right click on the app "Show Package Contents" and edit some config file.

(Sorry I'm no myiHome expert)

I'm pretty sure my firewall isn't the issue, but I'll try again with Little Snitch disabled.

Hi all,

I was expecting this new version to solve my issue of photos not showing up (while everything else war ok).
But, this still does not work.
It seems that MyiHome throws a Java Null Pointer exception when I tried to access to photos on my mac (iphoto 09 by the way).
Does anyone have any idea ?

Why is there no "server" GUI for the MAC?

I'm no myiHome user myself, but I'll guess that it automatically shows the default Mac directories; Pictures, Music and Movies. Not much more to configure that isn't already available through the normal GUI on the TV/Projector.

Right you are dc11ab, myiHome Mac is an *almost* faceless app and neither requires nor accepts user input; just launch and forget.

FWIW, I've set it as a Login Item.

*almost* = myiHome Mac does appear in the Dock and Menu bar however the only user actions allowed are Launch and Quit.

And is it ok for all of you to share pictures inside iPhoto.
On my side, this crashes myiHome.

Any idea ?
