reboot as application

From time to time it happens that you want to reboot your PCH.

If I telnet to my PCH I can type reboot, perfect this works.

But I would like to have in my /Apps (on my HD) an application
that will do it. So don't need to switch the PCH off/on.

I think I need to do this with html page and a cgi script, like
reboot.htm
reboot.cgi

I have no knowledge (almost) about cgi scripts and HTML.

How do I make this ?

I think you can reboot by pressing the on/off button so it goes to sleep mode and then immediately the "eject" button

Is there any particular reason you want to do it in software? You can do it via remote.

I have add a shutdown button to my PCH Homepage. Now everyone, not only experts, can turn it off
