HP server card on a PC

Totally random question, and I suspect that the answer is "no," but can I use one of these on one of these and expect it to work?

Doubtful...I don't know of a non-server motherboard that uses 64-bit PCI slots, which you'd need for the array controller.

At any rate, the board you posted a link for doesn't have them...

Some of the 64 Bit cards can be used in a regular Pc with 32 Bit bus, BUT you will get MUCH less perfomance

and some cases won't have the room for the card. Why do you want to use a 64 Bit card in a Pc ??

without even talking about compatible, look at the physical attributes. it is quite obvious.

But you can still use SOME of the cards in the 32 Bit Bus, they can sence if the card is in a

64 or 32 Bit bus and configure itself to the right type.
