1.6 scanner too slow after scanning 4-5 movies

Just installed version 1.6. I only kept the skins folder [using ppp2] and my properties file. I assume by keeping it in the parent dir, it will override the entries that have not changed.

While scanning, after 4-5 movies that are scanned OK, the next one takes a long time, and it seems to hang in the entry after the next.

Anyone facing similar errors?
