Sorry, the machine of possibilities and growth, is seeing recession and limitation amongst the wait for firmware. Don't get me wrong, I fully support the C-200 - but it is hard to swallow instantaneous reduction in features, while waiting for improvements.

As it is now the implementation of robj/davidbox is not built into gaya. Which is the browser that the pch uses. Its running as a stand alone. If in the future pch was to compile gaya with robj then youtube xl should in theory work fine.

Thanks for your response - the ROBJ/Davidbox has always been confusing. Still, sad to see YouTube support be removed.

if google want to sad asses about it, hell let them! there are plenty of other streaming sites about (mind you most are flash based ).
i dont get it though - if i watch youtube through my pc its fine, if i watch it through my phone also fine but god forbid i should try to watch it on a set top box!?
did i miss a meeting or something?
it seems that google may like to produce their own set top or just charge companies for access to a free service. so its down to searching with google on a google browser using a google os as we purchase using google checkout and check our google mail next step must be google tv. all of that from a search engine - and people say microsoft have the monopoly

+1 for fixing PlayOn support. This seems like something that needs done anyway, adds more than just youtube, and would solve the issue for a lot of people.

What about enable WEB BROWSE in the popcorn, and surf youtube, via the normal web service?
i use to navigate simple pages, with "title" button in the mail screen of the popcorn, there i put the internet address an worked ok...

You can always run it off your own web site (Syabas can't stop you doing that and I very much doubt that Google/Youtube will come after you), so I think any time you spend improving your already great Youtube interface wouldn't be a waste of time.

There's really no substitute for youtube. When it's gone from the NMT, it reduces the value of the nmt for many of us. Actually I only use it for music and yes Youtube.
