RE: Youtube Discussion
I think the easiest way to get youtube back is to incorporate a internet browser. but I dont think popcorn hour is capable of that?

RE: Youtube Discussion
Yes we will be bringing Youtube back to the A-200 and C-200. It will be delivered as an application similar to that of Rev3 and other apps right now.
A-100/A-110's will not have it because we can only deliver the Flash Version of Youtube, and can no longer support the html version. The former Steve.Young in Blue. Onwards to greener pastures. |

Thanks for the information. I'm not going to ask when. I'm just glad at least we know it's going to be available in the future. My family loves playing with youtube and it would be a nice experience using the PCH for it. |

You have to use the server approach as per the youtubelite thread in MSP. I run it from my Synology NAS. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

I bought the A100 because it could run Youtube now it has been gone for a year (without having to run a PC or your NAS...why not just have a HTPC?). I'm looking for a new media player that will play Youtube but now I'm not sure if it will have it once I get it....
