[Oversight] patch to launch from theme/skin/custom html

This has been rolled into all recent Oversight releases and is not necessary any more.

Hi,
The pull-down menus in Oversight do not work correctly when it is launched from a gaya html page. (Only launching from Web Service works)

I've fixed the problem but dont want to push out another release just yet - let the dust settle.

For anyone that wants to try the patch

1. First make sure you are running Oversight 20091123-3BETA or better (note 1123-4BETA reports itself as 1123-3BETA.oops)
2. Make sure you have viewed the menu page at least once.
3. [Ignore]download the oversight executable from ... and/or ... [ EDIT : links removed - just install latest oversight and go to step 5! ]

4. [Ignore]Save it as /share/Apps/oversight/oversight.cgi (ie the binary file directly replaces the cgi script.)
5. Try to load the Oversight page via the standard Web Service.
6. If that fails Make sure /share/Apps/oversight/oversight.cgi is executable. (this can be done via telnet, or ftp using the quot or site command, or your FTP client may have a pretty gui to change permissions), then repeat step 5.
7. Once you pass steps 5/6, try your theme/html link. using http://127.0.0.1:8883/oversight/oversight.cgi

Did it and it works the options All / All Genres / Tv-Movie / Watched-unwatched are working with kdoske index.html page and with standard webservice also all oké.

Hey Lordy,

Tried to find your post on how to set the C200 to go to oversight after boot by default to no avail.

Can you kindly provide some pointers.
