Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
I am having trouble enabling MediaJukeBox.
I click on the enable tick box, it took me through to a screen for downloading the app and MediaInfo. which I did for both and the put it in C:\Program Files\myiHome\plugin\moviejukebox. But when I go back in to tick the box it just says the same thing. Am I missing something here, what am I doing wrong. |

RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
I too am having this same issue. When extracting the moviejukebox there is no folder that it is requesting to drop into the plugin directory.

RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
I'm using the newest version of myihome 5.2. Ive tried downloading and extracting the newest version of mediajukebox and also some of the early beta versions that it says it only supports. It seems like were missing a step somewhere but I have not been able to find anything that instructs otherwise.

RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
I'm using the myiHome-v5.2.0 also and the moviejukebox-v1.0.18 beta. It works fine and a pop-up shows the moviejukebox processes. Make sure your "moviejukebox" folder and the subfolders are correct, e.g.
C:\Program Files\myiHome\plugin\moviejukebox ~\notices ~\skins ~\lib ~\temp ~categories.xml ~genres.xml . . . Maybe you can workaround to enable it. Just go to edit the registry of the myihome : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Syabas Technology\myiHome] set "PluginJukeboxEnable"="true" |

RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
In the YAMJ installation folder (where the cateogires.xml, genres.xml, etc files exist), you'll have to make a "moviejukebox.properties" file. You can make a copy of the one in the "properties" folder. It's named moviejukebox-default.properties, so rename it to remove the "-default" part.
Edit it to your likings, or leave it as is. Then myiHome should no longer complain. Edit: Also read the top portion of this for pretty much the same directions: http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wi...Properties -- also, that page will contain all the possible options that you can change in the moviejukebox.properties file. RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
Oops....
I just realized. I made a mistake. Robsonalan, you mean the Media Jukebox from J.River ? Sorry.. MyiHome is just compatible to YAMJ (Yet Another Movie Jukebox). I also tested for the latest version of YAMJ (v1.6) released on November. It cannot enable because the foldere structure of moviejukebox is changed and myiHome just unable to detect the location of the YAMJ properties files. So it may need those workaround suggested by "ejp" above, else need to wait for updates of myiHome soon. Cheers =) |

RE: Problems with enabling MediaJukeBox
I tried creating the moviejukebox.properties file as you said but myihome still complains about this. I also tried a few of the other beta versions of YAMJ and it just does not like any of them that I have tried thus far.

You could try installing YAMJ without MyIhome, I started to do this when I run into trouble. I am now having problems with MediaInfo app terminating with error "The exception Integer division by Zero. (0c0000094 occured in the application at location 0x1017e6e4" It then hangs until you ok the message. It only hangs on some files does anyone have any idea. |

Make shure that the moviejukebox.properties doesnt have a filetype ending and it should work. |
