Hi, i am new to all this and have just got the popcorn c-200. This may seem like a stupid question but how do i run oversight once it has been installed on the popcorn hour. I can't for the life of me figure this out.

Hi

I put a new film (the latest Harry Potter movie) on my HDD. I did a rescan in my Oversight and despite the fact that in the boxset, it tells me it has 7 movies, when i enter the boxset it gives me this error msg

oversight.cgi: display.c:1575: internal_image_path_static: Assertion `path[250] == '\0'' failed

I changed thw name of the folder, file, nfo.. changed the whole nfo but still nothing. I don't know what this error means so i need your help!

@mistakos , please download latest alpha and try - you will need to uninstall oversight and then re-install.

ok.. it worked perfectly.. liked the new version too! One more question I have is the following.

I have a collection of James Bond movies. One movie (with the old and new version of oversight) is not included in the boxset. Is there a limit of movies for the boxset or do I have to do something else (e.g. wirte something in the nfo)?

@mistakos, Hm, I'm testing all Bond movies here and it seems to work with latest alpha,
are you using r1886 ? IF not can you tell me which movie is left out ?

Yes i am using the r1886 as you suggested since last night.. I think (i can't remember) that with the previous release it was a different movie left out of the boxset..

Despite being "Bond" movie NSNA does not belong to the official Bond series produced by Broccoli.

Thanks Roman, 'Never Say Never Again' will need a change to oversight. Either

- custom boxsets OR
- to include 'version of' movies. (which may not be the best choice for other box sets - but if its configurable?)

Oversight uses the IMDB movie connection information. Specifically 'follows/followed by' and (IIRC) 'remake of/re made as'

Also relates to the old version of Casino Royale. Never worried me that they weren't included, as neither were very good movies.

I think a "custom boxset" might be good to have on the next release lordy it can give the user a chance to adjust his own collection as he likes.

e.g. the two punisher movies, (the punisher and punisher war zone) are not included in one boxset. They are not sequels, but it would be great to have them both in one boxset..

I want to know what I've to fill in at film_folder_fmt if I want the movie to be moved to my NAS?

Do I use smb://NAS/media/Videos/Films or //<nasip>/media/Videos/Films or video/Video/Films (I added the smb://NAS/media/Videos/Films as video in my PCH)
