RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
@crush,
if you get a white screen on the PC can you save the html page and email it to me? if you only get it on tv, then can you telnet in , generate the white screen again, and before going to any other page copy /tmp/0 to /share/Apps/oversight/tmp/bad.txt and then email bad.txt to me. Can you do this with r665-testing release? Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
Hey Lordy,
R665 full rescan fixed my problem with the poster time stamp issue... thanks for that ...I have question/observation. I have 211 movies and 1505 episodes on my NAS which oversight scans, and I noticed that regardless of whether I do a full scan (all media), quick scan (new/unknown media), or whether oversight scans my watch directory after an X amount of time (X being the time you specify under Oversight configuration -->Media Sources-->watch_frequency), it takes oversight the same amount of time to finish the scan which averages for me at around 45 min.
Thanks, Espresso Okay that's a bit weird! After the full scan finished, my posters were in proper order... I was watching the index.db and it was changing the _IT hex date value. After writing the above post, and when I came back to oversight, I found that again I had the random poster display... Checked the logs, no other scan has/is taking place Many of the movies/series in the index.db now share the same value hex date value _IT! Actually, having another look, another scan is taking place which I guess is the scheduled scan.... do they use different logic to populate the time stamp value? Espresso Used your date.sh binary to convert the hex to the date format here's the output ./bin/date.sh 6dcad80 2009 12 21 22 0 6dcad80=200912212200 Which being populated gradually over all the _IT values in the index.db NMT: C-200, 2.5" 320GB WD3200BEKT... RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
Can you look at a full scan log and an incremental scan log. The time taken is at the bottom.
(also email and I'll have a look) @crush - have you also tries an uninstall followed by a re-install (this resets your configuration files) Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
For a full scan log the one that I had done a while ago
116m 28s For the one that launched every 2 hours (my setting) it is 94m 57s some are 100m it really varies, no value is the same... but they're far more than 45 min I calculated! (not sure how I did that) I couldn't remember which log was for an incremental scan that I have done, but all my log files are around 17.5 MBytes Is there a way to identify from the log itself whether it was full, incremental or schedule scan? Have a read at my previous post I had updated it with interesting information ![]() Thanks, Espresso NMT: C-200, 2.5" 320GB WD3200BEKT... RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
Hi Lordy thanks fot the awesome oversight, I really love it...
I am new on this form but have been reading here for a while... I have the latest version (r665) but am having a big struggle to get all my movies scanned... I added .nfo's ect but still no luck, are they getting filtered out by the erotica filter? the movies I am having trouble with are: Little Nicky http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185431/ and all the bottom live stage shows... they are all video_ts files (vob ect) and can't convert them to iso for some reason... Maybe it would be handy to have an emergency edit and add function in the admin where you can change posters ect or browse your HD manualy and add posters fanart ect....???? Keep up the good work!!!! And merry christmas!!!! |

RE: Oversight Jukebox r665-testing
@espresso Hi, it looks like your incremental scan is acting like a full scan?
You can tell incremental scans as the start of the log will say Arg:[NEWSCAN] and a full scan will say Arg:[RESCAN] Can you send latest incremental scan log? @jimi_c, what is thename of your little nicky file. Scan you send a scan log. There should be much problem picking up movies like this. You can change posters of movies or tv shows that are recognised (see the Oversight Wiki). There does need to be an edit function. This is on the road map.. Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: Oversight Jukebox r667-testing
Lordy - loving the developments on oversight, thank you for all your work.
I stuck R665 on my box yesterday, not sure if the install went funny but the first time I viewed the oversight index there was a wget error at the bottom of the screen in white text (invalid parameters, or something along those lines). wasn't sure if I'd be able to scan new items, so I removed an item from the list and did a rescan, it picked it up fine, so I did a full rescan with overwrite, everything looked ok on the fetch behind the scenes but the rendering is a bit iffy - the page displays errors (I'm using IE7 and get the warning icon, looks to be a whole stack of 'object expected' errors). Most of the posters allow me to click through to the details, but several do not. My oversight interface is web acccessible if a link would help, so you can see what I'm talking about - I can PM you. Apologies as always if this is a known issue, haven't tried R667 yet but couldn't see anything like this mentioned anywhere! |

RE: Oversight Jukebox r667-testing
installed r667.
Ran a full rescan. Now everything is all over the place as far as order is concerned. Movies over 3 months old are at the front as are some TV shows. The latest TV show to be put on my box is now on page 3. Think I've found it: In the logs: shorttime 20090825000700 = 6d0c807 Run that against bin/date.sh 6d0c807=200900240207 nb using date.sh then both 20090825000700 and 200900240207 will translate to 6d0c807 |
