Customized BoxSets/TV Series Index Page

Using Dreamweaver and RoundPic I improved the look of several TV Series index pages and some Movies BoxSets. This is to use with AEON Movie Wall. There are several steps that you must take to make this work, they are easy:

Download this to the folder /skins/default/html/pictures/ this is only if you are downloading a movie boxset index page.

Download this to the folder /skins/default/html/pictures/ this is only if you are downloading a TV Series Index page.

Download the Tv Series/BoxSets that you want, download all the files in the .rars to the folder /jukebox and also to one folder you should create in the root of the disk called /Sets. I STRONGLY recommend this latter step.

Rename the XML files of the TV Series/BoxSets indexes that you already have to the same name of the HTML that you have just downloaded. Do the same with the first episode of each season/movie, I recommend that you rename all the episodes of each season, you can use RenameMaster to change all the files in one folder at once. In any case on each post that I will create for each Movie/TV Index page I will post the name that you must change your episodes/movies to.

Run My_YAMJ.bat

Copy all the html files from the /sets folder to the /jukebox folder


After these five steps your YAMJ should look like this:

How do you get the different layout in each page?

I use dreamweaver to change the layout to best suite the fanart that I had chosen.

I dont have dreamweaver and im not too bothered by the layout of the covers, but i like the idea of a SET specific background....can you just do a step by step for replacing that???

That's easy, open your file with notepad, the file should be something like this:
Set_30 Rock_1.html search for the word background1, you should find this line pictures/background1.jpg replace it with the filename of the fanart of your choice, something like this set_30Rock.jpg save the file and you're done.

Surely the default is to use the pictures folder in YAMJ on my C:/ or does it create and reference a new pictures folder in the jukebox folder created?

I only use YAMJ in external HDD so the pictures folder is on the jukebox folder in the root of the HDD, in any case I allways place the fanart in the jukebox folder.

i can set it all in dreamweaver and save boxes and background , but when i use My_YAMJ bat again it goes back to the default background?

that's why you should have a backup folder with all the tv series/boxsets indexes html files, it ocupies almost no space and because of the nature of tv seasons it will have to be updated once in a year.

So are you saying that YAMJ creates copies background1 from the skin folder to the jukebox folder, then references it for SETs - and therefore i just need another image in the jukebox folder and point my SETs to it????

by default yamj uses one .jpg file for all set background images, what we do is change the path to a specific file per set.

I've just implemented Set page fanart, so you should start seeing that appear in skins soon.
