Samba limits to copy GB files
Hi
I found that it is not possible to copy HD movies over the network. Looks like it is samba limit at Popcorn. Correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to copy files from Vista and W7 (both x64) and always get error that Pocporn drive is write protected - after big chunk was already sent over the net. Any solution for this issue ? RE: Samba limits to copy GB files
What size file are we talking about? I'm pretty sure you have some other issue and nothing to do with Samba. Is this the apps drive or a USB drive?

File size around 4GB and over.
It is internal Popcorn drive. I have to copy files through USB drive : copy from PC to USB drive and from USB drive to Popcorn. This way there are no problems. |

RE: Samba limits to copy GB files
Did you allow the PCH to format this drive? Very strange? We know Samba and the Ext3 file system can handle very large files. Well over a double layer blu-ray disk (50GB). 4GB sounds like the Fat32 file size limit but there should be no Fat32 with the PCH unless it is a USB drive.
