RE: Firmware for H&B DNX-8620
????? This is a DVD player. Correct? I think your asking in the wrong place. These are the NMT forums, supporting media streamers using NMT firmware.
C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. Remuxes, Captures and Transcodes done on a desktop running; Win7, Intel i7 hexacore processor with 24 GB ram, WD VR OS drive and a WD Black 2 TB data drive. |

RE: Firmware for H&B DNX-8620
This is the networked media tank forum for NMT media players not all media players.
Networked Media Tanks are syabas middleware players using the same/similar firmware and nothing to do with H&B. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Firmware for H&B DNX-8620
No it is not, the NMT came out in the 8634 chip. The 8620 was not a networkedtank but did have a version of myihome for it v.3.4.
When reason I remember this is that when the NMT came out myihome was released for it and it was version 4.3. Therefore we had quite a few NMT users runing the wrong version of myihome and getting quartered screens. So you need myihome v3.4 from somewhere to stream from a PC to it. It is a media player not a media tank. I guess it is some kind of media streamer but most places seem to call it a DVD player; http://www.shopping.com/xPO-H-B-Media-Ce...e-DNX-8620 Lots of luck in finding support for it. I can't even find a company web site for H&B. As Chris said, it's not an NMT. C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. RE: Firmware for H&B DNX-8620
The DNX-8620 is a Korean "Networked HD Media Player" adapted and rebranded by the French company H&B, they are still in business with different products. The DNX-8620 is based on Syabas middleware, French forum still active.
Firmware no. 4 (no further development): http://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?...code=13075 I still have a beta firmware lying around on my hard disk. PM me if you are interested. Use Medialink, Wizd or myihome (version?) to stream media. Documentation here: http://files.syfamily.org/DNX-8620/ Popcorn Hour A-200, H&B DNX-8620 |
