With me, in Vista, in Programs and features.. in the list of programs there is MMSproxyService..

Now If that fails.. Start regedit.exe, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete the key MMSproxyInstaller. Then reboot the PC.
After that you can reinstall MMSProxyService.

U do have to have a little patience before the stream will start but after that it runs great and u made my wife very happy.

I deleted the mmsproxy key in the register...installed the new one... No luck whatsoever.... No green checkmark...
ist say I have the 1.1.7 version, I get an IP adress and registration... no green checkmark...
Rebooted both the laptop with mmsproxy on it and the pch C200...

No luck

Maybe you need to reapply the firewall settings?
If you keep having troubles, mail me an actual logfile. (MMSProxyService.exe dayname.log)

I have a problem with uitzending gemist on my A-200. I am running it with the latest MMSproxyservice.
The only streams that works good is the MP4 stream. It starts quit quickly en runs good.

With the normal stream of the public broadcasters it takes very long before the stream starts. First I get the circle for a few seconds and afte that a black screen for some minutes eventually it starts and runs good. On my old A110 I did not had to wait this long. Is this a known problem or is ther something I can do about it?

The RTSP links do not work at all. It says 'test' but I wonder if it should work. I assume the picture quality of the stream is better.

'MP4 Streams' do not use MMSProxyService.. :-)

The other streams take a LONG time to start.. can be even minutes...

RTSP and MMS both do NOT work on A200/C200. You MUST use MMSPRoxyService there (Make sure the 'use always' check is set on the MMSproxy page). But from what you write I think MMSProxy isnt'w working with you.

I do not know where the 'test' comes from. Not from me...

Thanks for your answer.
If it is normal that it can take minutes, I think MMSproxy is working correctly. But I don't understand why it was much faster on my A-110.

For the RTSP/MMS; is this a software issue of th A-200? Then hopefully it can be solved in with a software update.

I tested some more on my A200:

MP4 stream work well
MMS stream via MMS proxy work ok but takes a long time to start
RTSP M4V don't work

'Normal' RTSP streams do work well. Does anybody no the cause why the RTSP M4V streams do not work?
