Yeah, lipsync is the only remaining issues for me as well. Annoyingly I've come across more of those type of files lately so I'd prefer if some sort of solution gets presented with the next firmware (or sooner!)

Does it help remuxing or doing any sort of fiddling about with the mkv files with regards to the lipsync issue?

An amplifier with an audio delay function (e.g. Onkyo TX-SR707) is the easiest way to fix this right now.

Been using new firmware for a few days now, status quo for me and the issues i'm having (quoted above).

The delay function sounds like a really good solution until they can fix the problem properly.

Anyway, i like the look of the new app centre so still have faith that this product was a good purchase for the future Smile

Edit: i find this post very informative and wonder could it be why some users are having sync issues and others are not http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...#pid318516

This was a great and fast release, hopefully many users have most of their annoying issues fixed. Now they can take care of the other issues with a new interface release Big Grin.

Hope everyone enjoys the Appcenter and new interface as it looks promising of whats to come with the new interface Big Grin.

ahhhhhhh, menu audio. not sure I like the rotating dots being overlayed on top of the BD start up logo, but not really a big deal. LOVE the change to setting up network shares!!!! no more bothering with proper syntax, just fill in the blanks and go. A welcome change. Still don't get why network shares don't show up when I browse, but I think that's something I may have set wrong, since I can just enter in the share info and access folders with no problem.

Good work guys.!

Over all the firmware is a good improvement. However, some things I have found with it are:
  • slower responce when navigating
  • some BRdisks do not play unless the C200 has gone through a hard reset
  • certain audio stops working (e.g. MP3, ShoutCast etc.) if a DVD or BR disk is played before

  • IF YOU HAVE A ISSUE PLEASE TRY TO REPRODUCE IT, ALSO AFTER A FULL POWER DOWN!

Regards,
Werner

A hard reset cures all the issues I have. But that sure is a PITA...

Play of DVD and BR Folder Structure problem
Hi,

Prior to update DVD or BR rips to folders worked well as long as I used the 10/100 speed in the Network setting going to a NFS share on a WHS. The only problems that were concerning is many "Extras, Previews, Bonus Content, etc." would not have audio, no matter what setting or refreshing the HDMI. By rips to floders, I mean UP\BDMV\Stream etc.

After the update, not one of the same DVD or BR Folder rips would play. The C-200 would return a message (after the the scrolling circle) "could not play"

I reverted back to the previous firmware, and all worked again. It sounds like someone in a previous reply had his BR Folder rips working, but could someone confirm that they are having success with this same set-up or provide some advice on what I might try.

Thanks.

Kurt

EDIT:

I reflashed my C-200 again, hard boot, resaved all of my settings, and what do you know...IT WORKS this time. In fact, the new firmware resolved the audio problem on Extras, Bonus Disk, etc. I will also confirm the continued problem with the 10/100 ( I absolutely need it) setting and the problem with D-Link Switches for streaming from my WHS NFS share.

Overall it's a good improvement. But there are two things that that have gotten worse for me:

- Navigation is a bit slower (mentioned by others as well).
- first half of a second or so, audio is missing when starting a MP3 or FLAC or so. I use HDMI audi only.

Agreed it does look promising. But as expected, after using it my C200 came to a screeching halt. If i was able to run top on the box I am sure I would have seen my CPU at 100%. After using the app. center every button click took 5 seconds to register and then the menu would move extremely slow.

But yes it does look extremely promising...

RE: [C-200 Forum Release] Firmware 02-02-100109-19-POP-408 (02-01-091203-19-POP-408 Apps)
HI @ all,

This is my first post here, but not the first time I read this forum. Tongue

Happy owner for about 4 week now, my c-200 hang up for the first time this week-end and wasn't booting anymore. The problem has been solved by using the "reset" button in the belly of the beast.

This is for me a positive firmware upgrade, THX to every people who worked (and tested) on it.

Positive point for this firmeware:
-I'm now able to read video .ts recorded by my DM-7025.

Negative point for this firmeware:
-Everything seems slowly now. (psychologic ?)
-I'm still unable to read stream from my DM-7025 (remember have read about problem on the port number used to read stream by C-200. This is working on A-110)
-I'm still unble to change video scalling while playing dvd.iso.

Is there any change to view the streamming port alowed to other numbers ? (8001 Angle)

Thx again, keep working hard to bring the C-200 on the pantheon of the NMT.

PS: sorry for my bd english.

Thanks

Nice FW only 2 issues are left: YcBCR support, and right "color-matrix fallback" for BT709.

Any news when this will be fixed?

If I remember correctly Apple changed their API. Now only Quicktime players can stream from Apple.
