Popcorn Hour User Manuals [16 Nov 2012]

I have spent many hours now with this box, the experience has not been good. Now I need to figure out many things that just are not right. I go to download the manual and WHAT? No Manual???? I can't believe this product has become so popular when the dev's don't even publish manuals. Is a complete shock to me. I could not recommend this to anyone that is not tech savvy and willing to dig into forums.

Product is A300, just received from the factory.

The C300 must be the only product I have ever purchased in my life that did not come with a printed manual (I had to double check the box as I could not believe it, not even a link to an online pdf version?.

Yes the answers to some specific things can be found here but why should a consumer have to search out the basic step through the menu's, setup etc:?

I read up on it alot before I bought it so I knew there wouldnt be one. that was in Nov. I've pretty got everything figured out thru trial and error and help on this forum. you do have to be pretty tek savvy to get it all set up but in the end it is well worth it. I'm glad I got mine in november when I did, rather than have them wait to release it untill the manual was finished. (I still wouldnt have one) you can always use the A-200 its pretty close to the same

Need some help, where i found a C-300 manual for example how i access can the NFS service running on it, etc...

Unbeliaveable, that i could not find it somewhere... (and just to know, it is illegal in hungary to market a device without a manual in own language)

BTW, the device is great, just need the info

Error in manual on page 5:

Hey Werner

While downloading the A-300 manual I noticed a little mistake that I highlighted in red at the bottom of your post. The section says it's for the A-300 but the text below and the link to download is for the C-300.

Thanks all sorted. Newer manuals now at top of list in post one and labelled correctly.

With regards errors in the 300 series manuals please post in the sticky in the 300 Hardware/Installation category as I', editting the manual and correcting mistakes for a forum release.

No problem printing using Adobe @ work or Foxit Phantom @ home here. Suggest you try printing via different PC or printer.
