RE: [PREVIEW] C-200/A-200 Rich UI (under development)
I like the UI. My criteria is that is it easy enough to use that I don't get a call at work from the wife asking how to use this #### thing. I get that now. Especially when she wants to queue up 3 or 4 albums. Thanks for all the work.

I like it.

One change I think I would like to see is once an image set is selected and the image pops up to the foreground, maybe utilize more of the screen for the image and thumbnail strip rather than the dim wall on either side. Other than that it looks great!

agree steve, maybe i should ask some of the UI developers that they try to fix the lipsync issue, which some are facing Rolleyes, then we talk in 2 or 3 months again where is a new firmware now Sleepy
Its like asking a IT person to repair a car!!!!

RE: [PREVIEW] C-200/A-200 Rich UI (under development)
Looks promising - first impression was it was busy UI, but after understanding the concept, I liked it.

I did catch the set as wallpaper icon - what are your thoughts on that... at what level is that being set - picture folder or entire set-up?

Thanks for sharing,

C'mon guys...people have specialties...An engineer could mean so many different things....software, electrical, civil, etc. People work in teams on different aspects of a product. I'm really sick of the "OMG stop diverting resources..." comments.

LOL, be easy. Many of these people have never been around software/hardware developers and have no understanding that individuals come to the table with specialties. You normally wouldn't put a C/C++ programmer on a Java project. You want all your people to preform in their area, so you have the best heads, focused on a certain aspect of the project. The area, they are best at.

I think my only concern so far would be how dark the non highlighted stuff is. I'm sure a lot of the darkness was due to the camera. But i'm just saying

Overall its looking good so far.

RE: [PREVIEW] C-200/A-200 Rich UI (under development)
i dont interact with the photos on nmt that much. but this will motivate me. as others have said, use more of the screen on selected item. and how dark -is- the dark part?

BUT LOOKS GOOD! I cant wait, just to see how fast it will run. html is faster than alot of devices with interface. but i feel like dying on the jukebox sometimes, and I have it split into like 3.

looking foward to get new UI, to get 2 more nmt's.

It looks a bit confusing to me, maybe when using it myself my concerns will turn out to be unnecessary, but right now I'm not sure.

+1 could have said the exact same words......

Looking photo's is nice and sure MUCH better then on the A100. (read almost not possible). My use is: store some photo's on the disk ans show the holiday to friends and family. No for me personally I don't need a fancy things, but as said (uhm tux99) It looks very good.

The "rotate" and othel "tool" icons are appearing on the left side of photo thus making photo itself smaller. There is bunch of unused room at bottom of the page. It's better place than left side of photo.

RE: [PREVIEW] C-200/A-200 Rich UI (under development)
I definitely think its a major improvement over the current UI. A couple of criticism's:

Looks busy in the background with all of the thumbnails. I'd almost like to see just the album title with a single thumbnail in the background until you scroll to that title and then it displays the 5 thumbnails, similar to how the PS3's XMB works.

Also, not sure how feasible this is, but perhaps an additional mode that you can switch to on an album so that you can see more than 5 thumbnails (2 up - 2 down - 1 in the center). This mode along with a page down would be VERY nice for people with larger albums...

BTW Werner the english is "Actual Size" not "Actual Screen", that makes no sense at all.

RE: [PREVIEW] C-200/A-200 Rich UI (under development)
Hello All,
The interface looks like the new app center / shoutcast feature on the current c-200 progams and that is promising too...
I hope the music and video features are just as nice looking...and work as smooth as the video...

Keep u the good work in the UI .

Hope more posibilities / functionality will be added to the programs besides nice UI too.

Regards Jip
