ISO slowdown and sound stutters
Hi

In the last time my PCH has troubles with playing ISO"s DVD9. The files are played from the build in hard drive.
He plays the picture, slow down and the sound is gone.
When I play the same file again, the trouble occurs but on different spots in the file.
The same files didnt show any problems in the past.
I roll back the firmware to june 2009 but no changes.

Can someone helps

RE: ISO slowdown and sound stutters
This smells like a wireless connection, try from usb drive / internal drive or a wired connection, should be fine.
Also, reboot the unit and try again if you haven't already.

Please read the A-Series or C-200 FAQ before posting, you may save time and find your answer

RE: ISO slowdown and sound stutters
This night I unrar the ISO into a VTS folder to see if that can be played.
Strangly enough the PCH plays now the same ISO DVD9 without problems.
In my search to a solution I read on the dutch Eminent forum, wich device looks simulair to the PCH, that the mod of Eminent suggest, that If you have the problems as written in my topic, movie stutters and sound stays behind, you can in settings choose for Framerate sync.
Normally this says "no or off"
The mof advises in this case to Turn it on , in my case "NTSC-Pal"
Mayby it helps for someone.
