TrueHD inside MKV
Hi,
I've read the PCH A-110 is supposed to support TrueHD? seems to me like I have an issue with that... There is no audio track available according to the PCH. I've noticed this while the file started and I pressed the 'i' button on my remote. It just lists "Audio: - " anyone an idea? jeroen Code: Complete name : title01.mkvPCH A-110 | Panasonic VIERA TX-P50G10 | Harman Kardon AVR-347 7.1 |

RE: TrueHD inside MKV
I think that's only true for m2ts format. From mkv it's not working currently.

RE: TrueHD inside MKV
Not supported on any MKV presently. Will hopefully be introduced on the 8643 chipset player and if possible ported back to the 8635 NMT.
TrueHD in an MKV has only been supported by haali since December 09. Until the HD audio in singlefile player bug on the C-200 is fiixed work cannot start on this. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

Strange, DTS-MA seems to play fine (but I guess it's just DTS that leaves the PCH and not DTS-MA?). So m2ts is an alternative regarding HD audio on the PCH? jeroen PCH A-110 | Panasonic VIERA TX-P50G10 | Harman Kardon AVR-347 7.1 |

RE: TrueHD inside MKV
I'm also interested to see if/when the Popcorn Hour will support HD Audio formats (True-HD, DTS-MA) inside MKVs. Would love the A110 to support them, but if that's not possible it would be good to see the A200 step up to the job.
Thanks. |

RE: TrueHD inside MKV
When I play an mkv with DTS-MA, my PCH info screen reports that it's playing DTS audio at 3Mbps. My receiver says DTS, but I'm not sure what it's actually receiving.
