Well, the average 720p video has a resolution of 1280x~600 and from what I understand, the iPad will be able to decode 720p HD but it will display at a downsampled res.

as for the GPS, is A-GPS actually GPS? I don't know. Is it just the cell tower and wifi GPS thats on the iPhone 2G? Whatever it is, its available on both the wifi and 3G model according to Apple's site.

And for the USB accessory , you know that's ugly. Just like having to use a dongle for your headphone jack on the first Android phones was ugly.

I never really missed this on my iPhone, but i can imagine using multitasking on the iPad.

I use multitasking on my iPhone and couldn't do without it. Whens the last time you did only one thing at a time on your PC? I never do.

MSI has the tablet that will trash this product but will not due to well you guessed it, advertising. Once Apple brainwash the brain dead the 1Pad will out sell it. Ipad games? just think Iphone games. A PC or tablet without Flash is not worth buying at all. Its just crap. Apple locked out Adobe just because they want people to buy all that crap from itunes.

Everyone complains that its shit... just as they complained the iPhone was shit. I have used / played / hacked all types of phones.

Like I said, I am no fanboy, I hate MACs. But for me the iPhone is great (minus a few quicks). The fact that Apple does the App Store integration so smooth is ideal.

There are devices with better resolution, memory, speed etc. But you have to give Apple cred for their app store. No other device has an app store that integrates a smooth as Apple's. Please don't even mention M$ mobile store or BlackBerry store, both are infants compared to iTunes.

MSI has a tablet... but how many apps are there for it? It will soon become a great paper weight or digital frame to hang on the wall if no developers support it. Its a fact there will be thousands of apps for the iPad.

Don't like it? Don't buy it.

People love to complain about Apple because its Apple... Just like people complain about M$ because it's M$. In general people just love to complain.

Someone should buy a tablet which is essentially a computer and be wowed by just a App store? Your forgetting its not a phone so blackberry and MS store should not even compare here. Its a PC anyone should be able to install what ever they want and not rely on a App store. most people that buy tablets already have the software they want to run, why go with the whose"theres an app for that" routine.

$500 seems like a great price. My 11.6" netbook cost me $1k after my upgrades. If I can have a touchpad for basic email and web browsing it would be perfect. Although the lack of flash support could be a problem. But for $500 it seems like a steal. Of course they will have a newer version out within a year with some of the features they left out.

Thats a netbook with a touch screen... Why not compare the iPad to every netbook then.

The iPad is not a netbook and is not meant to be.
