hello everyone

got yayman development version (0.99.99.24) and the newest yamj (r3512)
but when i try to add a movie id i can select the scraper and enter the id
but when i click the add but nothing happens also the cancel button dont work
the only thing i can do is click the x button but i cannot change the id
i see that lots of people have this problem but nowhere i can find a fix

people with the problem too look at first post on page 94 on this thread

can somebody help me with this ??

this works fine with my html skin but when i changed to eversion it wont change the posters and fanart is this a bug or doesnt it with flash skins?

So, I've been unsuccessful in setting up YAMJ r3520, r3508 and r3507 with YAYMAN v.0.99.99.24. With 3520 nothing happens, with 3508 and 3507 YAYMAN opens up, but I can't get the movie / tv show list to edit them.

I am seriously considering selling my PCH-A210. Anyone interested?

Well, I've followed all the directions. Installed and re-installed everything, and I can't get it to work. I've check and re-checked paths, and they are correct.

I keep getting this error messages at the bottom section of YAYAMAN window:

Error reading library file: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/moviejukebox/writer/MovieJukeboxLibraryReader

This is what I've got from My_Library.xml

Local Path: \\\\Tower\Media\Movies
Player Path: ///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/MOVIES AND TV SHOWS/Movies/

Local Patch: \\\\Tower\Media\TV Shows
Player Path: ///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/MOVIES AND TV SHOWS/TV Shows/

This has nothing at all to do with your yamj paths, it's either an incompatibility between the version of YAYMAN and YAMJ or an incorrectly setup between the two.

When installing YAYMAN make sure that you aren't running YAMJ or any other program that may lock the files in the lib folder.

I'm not sure what the command file for YAYMAN uses to define the paths, but that may need updating too

Ok, I think I've got it to work. You will have to download the latest development JAR build file. I read the first post like 50 times, and followed all the directions, but I never though of using this file until now.

Here's the link where you can download the file. You do not have to re-install everything. All you've got to do is replace the .jar file.

UPDATE: Everything works. I have noticed that for some reason YAYMAN doesn't bring up the fanart file. Like if YAMJ didn't scrap it, but it did. Other than that I can edit both poster and fanart.

UPDATE: YAYMAN will not download poster file. It hangs with the circle busy symbol. It only lets me download/edit fanart file. I've got about 15 movies with the wrong poster, and it isn't possible to fix it.

I also can't get Yayman to download or update posters or fanart. Also can't update imdb title. Running r3548 with v0.99.99.24 with the updated .jar fix. This is really annoying can anyone help?

Hey everybody, sorry for the neglect. For some reason, I'm not always getting notifications of when people reply to the thread even though I've subscribed. I just uploaded a new version of YAYMan that should fix the incompatibilities with the latest YAMJ.

Thank you so much. I just downloaded the latest YAMJ with YAYMAN, and it works.

It seems to be only me but I still can't update fan art on movies that have been miss identified. Delete the old one ok but when I try to put a new imdb reference it won't ever take it, the only way out is to hit the cross.

The process for correcting a movie's imdb id is:

1. Double-click the box containing the incorrect imdb id
2. Enter the correct imdb id
3. Press enter
4. Right-click on the same box and choose "Regenerate"
   

If the movie doesn't have an imdb id to begin with, right-click on that box and select "Add," select "imdb" from the dropdown box, and enter the imdb id in the box. After that, make sure to remove any incorrect ids.

Trying to add a new ID doesnt work for me either. The "add" and "cancel" buttons don't do anything.... and no java errors are appearing.

I find it is annoying, because I've got quite a few movies where I want to switch from IMDB to another one (or vice versa) as well as quite a few where it simply failed to find an id with the movie name scan. I'm stuck going back to create .nfo files by hand.

BTW, it really would be nice to be able to generate nfo files where the movie is stored, so that all the "fixes" I make don't get lost when the movie gets re-scanned (which seems to happen for quite a few things in my library where fields were left as "UNKNOWN"). Is that possible to do now?
