iPhone File Browser for C200 (Lighttpd/PHP)

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd share my handy tool with you all.

Want to browse your download folder wherever you are?



I have a C200 with Transmission 1.8, and the Lighttpd/PHP install from vaidyasar. You will need these packages installed via the CSI before you can do this.

1. Download: http://ix9.integratedx.com/c200/iPhoneFi...r_C200.zip

2. Unzip to \share\Apps\AppInit\websites

3. Browse to http://[yourC200_IP]:9999/files.php

4. Publish your port on your router to use this externally, I use Cisco so its as simple as "ip nat inside source static tcp [internal] 9999 interface Dialer1 80" -0 but each to their own.

5. Profit

Disclaimer: This uses the iWebkit framework, and I am definitely not a skilled PHP developer, so the codes a bit hacky, but it works

This will allow you to browse your /Download folder remotely. If you wish the file links to be clickable, you will need to change your Lighttpd config as per my post here.

Oh, and if you want to password protect the clickable downloads (via Lighttpd again) ie, you want to show off your downloads to other people but not actually let them download. Then follow my lighttpd config change post here.

Nice work.

Ger Teunis advice us to not use the /share/Apps/AppInit/websites. It's preferable to make a CSI package and put in /share/Apps/[appname], together with the appinit.json file etc. - this makes the package easier to maintain/update etc.
