Has anyone been charged Import Duty ?

I have had to send mine back to Popcorn (Dodgy Networking side of things) which cost me another £45 and knowing my luck I'll get stung for two lots of £20.48 which will mean I would have paid £193.96.

Should have waited for the Tvix M-6500

Must agree if it doesnt work they should pay your shipping whereever you are living.

Got a mail today saying they will reimburse the shipping costs, they also said they will label it as being repaired for the Customs people.

Hopefuly I will get my new one before Xmas :lol:

I was not charged any duty as far as I know.
Though since it was sent to a company address, perhaps DHL will send me a bill later - they do that for other things incoming to here. They did call me to ask "what is it" and I said "a unit to watch files from PC on TV". They shut up and took it out of customs.

In spain is 56eur , dhl handling included. If it were posted as PC component it wouldnt had extra taxes, just iva.
Even better, if its a posted with no priority, as a present in usual mail, probably anything more to pay :twisted: ... better luck next time.
