2 istar NMT one with External SATA
(I posted this as mpcclub, but Im giving you guys the chance to comment too
 )I want to know if this is possible: 1st istar attached to the Network Switch 2nd istar attached to the Network Switch with external SATA drive Can the 2nd unit play video/audio, from the network or from the attached drive, while serving as a NAS for the 1st box? (and eventually a 3rd istar) In a nutshell do the NAS function of the NMT work concurrently with the multimedia features? Im trying to save $$ by not purchasing a NAS, I still have a PC in the net if this is not possible, Thanks! |

yes should work but i dont no how it performs when 2 devices wanna connect to von istar with hdd but 1 istar to an other istar should work

performance is my concern, I guess any PCH can reply too since its a feature shared by all NMT.
