Moving files from C200 to NAS???

Hi,

I have just bought myself a nice shiny QNAP TS-219p. What I want to do is move some files from the PCH to the NAS, I don't want to do this via the pc, i.e. moving via explorer, etc, as my laptop is on a 54Mb wireless connection, I want the NAS to be able to connect to the PCH and do a direct transfer. Is there an app that I can install on the NAS to do this via a web interface or similar as my Linux is not good enough to do via Telnet on the NAS.

Hey nice NAS... Those QNAP's are loaded with features! My friend has that unit and really likes it.

As long as you can browse the location where you want to copy the files to you should be able to do it with the remote.

Use the file copy mode to add everything you want to copy to its list, browse to where you want to copy the files and select "copy listed items here"

I copied this out of the remote control page on the WIKI.

First time you have three options:-
Add file to list
Create Folder
Rename File
If you already have a file listed then you have further options:-
Remove from list
Copy Listed items here
Move listed items here
Delete file from list
Clear list
Create folder
Rename file
Create Playlist here

Press ENTER on the highlighted file or selection to execute.

Thats what I have been doing, I have setup an NFS share off the NAS and connected to it from the PCH, and then selecting and moving files from the remote, only problem is, there are thousands of files and my finger is starting to ache lol.

Setup a backup on the qnap to pull the files directly from the c200 pch..

I can't figure how to connect the NAS to the PCH, when I go into Remote replication on the NAS, I get asked to add the Remote Destination. I enter the share path, username and password, it also has a port number which is filled in as 873. Upon clicking test I get the following error "The remote host or the destination directory does not exist, or a port error is encountered".
