Yes well I didn't expect them to introduce such a radical change in this coming firmware!

It's good to see them working on the subtitle handling though, because it's one of the things that are quite lackluster on this machine.

DTS-HD & TrueHD Sound support for MKV files!!!

I am rapidly running out of space with ISOs, and would like to convert to MKV's to cut down on the clutter.

Is this going to be supported in the near future, or am I going to have to buy another 4TB?

Well, if we can "vote" for the next firmware release, I would like to add better BD drive support. I have a Lite-on, but there are still a lot of glitches with a lot of BD movies I own.

For instance Planet Earth (UK edition) doesn't play when I let the C-200 fully boot and place the disc after the full boot. Funny things is that Life (Dutch version) does play without a problem when I let the C-200 fully boot and place the disc after that.

Most of my problems are with intro movies and menus. If the movie starts, I have a no further problems. But sometimes getting to the stage to get the movie playing can be quite a pain. Just a note, these are all movies I bought, so these are original retail discs.

I really wouldn't mind helping out with the debugging, as I do understand that it could be drive and/or drive firmware related, but so far this is my biggest disappointment with the C-200.

I confirm , BD drive support could be improved.
Yesterday , I tested my Avatar Blue Ray disk on a samsung BD player , it didn't work like on c200.
tomorrow , there is an update and avatar BR disk works fine on it !!!!

Ooohh... let's hope you're wrong. If the HD audio thing is anything to go by, then maybe we'll be able to play our Avatar discs by Christmas, if we're lucky.

Syabas works on it, and I hope the update will be included in the next firmware.

(And I agree with you , if BD+ is going to be down to Sigma , I think we ll able to play in many months....)

many manufacturers have already update their BR player to allow the reading of Avatar BR....

I have started to live a audio problem with Dual audio supported videos.

You can see 2 samples below :

1) When I open the first video PCH-200 can stream only Audio 2 it works like in mute mode when I pass to Audio 1.

2) When I opened the 2nd movie I can not hear any audio from neither Audio 1 nor Audio 2.

Any idea Why I started to live this kind of problem starting from this fw only?

I've searched and haven't seen anyone mention this;

does anyone have problems with blu-ray ISO's where after a variable amount of time , usually a few minutes, you can no longer pause, ff,rew, or access the title menu?

If you hit pause for example the pause icon is displayed but the movie continues to play. Same for FF/RW.

I have a HDMI matrix 2x4 connected to my Popcorn Hour, but after the latest official firmware it doesn't work anymore. I have tried to switch cables and switch power supply on the HDMI matrix, but no luck. On my other equipment it works fine, so it must be the negotiation with the C-200 that goes wrong. Will the next firmware perhaps solve these issues. I had no problem with the older firmwares...

PS. Have also make a thread on the C-200 bugs forum, but hopefully someone can help in either case.
