A200 WD 1.5TB WD15EARS problem partition empty

hi,
i have buy a PCH A200 with a Western Digital WD15EARS 1.5TB 64Mb , the PCH with also the latest firmware .
working like a charm during 3 weeks then the nightmare, i explain:
i transferred 1TB of movie in the PCH from the network 100 mbits (windows seven) and i tried to download with nzbget, after 6 mkv dowloaded successfully the 7get crashed my PCH (the download is ok but the unpacking seems to be in an infinite loop). i reseted my PCH but the hard drive is no longer detected by the PCH. i tried it in windows XP sp3 with ext2FSD to view the 4 partitions but it's impossible and ask me to format the partition.
after a long search and no way i formated all the drive and lost all my movie but the drive is found by the PCH and formated by it.
i transfered 15 mkvs after 3 days ...and this time freeze when lauching the PCH at the loading screen....if i unplug the hard drive , it work.
i plugged the hdd in xp and the same thing , all 4 partition are there but when i clicked on it, it ask to format the partition.
anyone have the same problem? any idea i'm really dissapointed ...

If you search the forum you will see quite a few WD HDD owners with the 1.5Tb EARS version having problems. You'll also see many not.

One reported that using the WDutil utility in DOS and setting the park time to 30 secs helped IIRC. Anyway search for the thread and you'll see.

I had multiple problems with 1.5Tb WD disks. I upgraded my NAS (1Tb's) with a new one (1.5Tb's). It looked like it was working it copied, responded and the monitoring tools worked fine. But when trying to address the thing, it failed within 5 seconds. I basically got out the easy way returned the NAS and waited for the Flacky batches to pass by. I now have 2Tb disks which never gave an problems at all.

where can i download WDutil?
i cheked in google "wdutil" but never find anything , all what i find is =>http://support.wdc.com/product/download....rs&x=0&y=0 only for windows XP format
or Data Lifeguard Diagnostic http://support.wdc.com/product/download....08&lang=en but i try it and never find any option for parking option to 30second !
anyone help plz?
