RE: Music Player Daemon (MPD) 2010-04-04 v0.15.9
I installed mine months ago and at the time the versions on CSI were not the latest ... so i followed the instructions on the 1st post to install - now this might not be needed anymore!
Anyway - what you're doing seems correct. Before you rebuild the database make sure the network path is mounted by pch ... so basically click on it from the a110 main menu ... it will take a while (might even give you an error after a long wait) but you should be able to see your files from the XMBC mount. Only then you should try the rebuild. I don't normally use minion to update ... so can't say for sure - what i do is telnet to the pch's ip ... go to the /apps/mpd directory ... delete the database file then issue a ./daemon.sh stop and ./daemon.sh start ... this will take a while and then a new db file is created. You can monitor/delete the database file easily using windows explorer! |
