So you have no apps installed on your A-200?
This scenario worked a few weeks ago but it seems that with the last firmware something has changed.

I found it, seems its the "other" wiki. The s/w dev signature has the old wiki.

I wonder if you just need a index.htm file in the root of the source, with a immediate redirect to the umc.phf file. A la the yamj index.htm file.

I'm not possitive that'll work as i don't have a ton of experience with phf files yet, but I'll give that a shot tonight when i get home

All of my other files follow this same format, but it seems that it has error'd on a couple of them, maybe 5....

You could try to change the pattern to ".fanart".
Please give feedback if you tried that.

Hey Excal.... Yeah its been a while.... I haven't really done anything with movies, and then looked over the weekend and saw this UMC 2.0 coming out.... I am excitied again about movies... Was getting tired of using yamj. So greatful there is something else now....

I am trying to put it through the ringer, I should have been a beta tester!! haha...

This will definitely work (redirect in an index.html). Tried that during the testing with an external apache

I have my movies sorted in diffrent categories like:

720P
1080P
and so on

My movie folder looks like this:
movies\720p\my movies\mymovies.mkv
\1080p\my movies\mymovies.mkv

I cannot get UMC to scan and find my movies when i just add the movies catalog and check the box "include subdirs"
Du i have to add each subfolder to get it to work????

Ok probably got an obvious problem but i cant work it out.

copied umc folder to internal hdd and ran the umc.phf file.

All seems good, i press the green button which brings up the ribboni choose list view and it shows the list view. but, how do i get rid of the ribbon asking me what view to choose. I am sure I have pressed every button on the remote (c200)

I stopped the scan after few hours and 4%. There was too much errors.

Is there some settings for mediainfo. I think every video file gets "IO exception check mediainfo permissions" and for music files there is "ERROR - com.umc.beans.media.MediaFactory.createMusicBean - Could not create Music-Bean java.lang.NullPointerException"

Is there some settings for mediainfo? Is the mediainfo tag in config-file for path or should there be a link to mediainfo in tools-folder?

Or get Syabas to auto mount umc.phf or index.phf

Yes, i know this isn't the popular opinion, but i really don't see the point of nfo files. If people really want that much control over the information, why not use a full fledged program like Movie Collector, or My movies instead?

More bluntly, why do all the work yourself when the jukeboxes were designed to do it for you?
