CANT STREAM VIDEO USING MY I-HOME ON A-110!!
Hey guys, im tearing my hair out here!
Ok, I had a XP PC not long ago and got rid of it. This played all my files easily! I now have a PC running windows 7 64 bit.... and it sees the files etc and the external hard drives, but cannot play any files! It simply takes about 2-mins to load and then says 'could not play' Any ideas? |

RE: CANT STREAM VIDEO USING MY I-HOME ON A-110!!
One thing that I had to do with Windows 7 for a different issue may help with this one. I had to create a user account called guest and changed the permissions to allow everything. You may want to check your permissions in your main user account first if you haven't already and try changing the permissions to basically allow everything. If that doesn't work I would try creating the guest account.
I hope this helps. Scott |

It haoppens on my PS3 too! Should I simply allow EVERYTHING then? But wont this make me an easy target for hackers etc??? |

RE: CANT STREAM VIDEO USING MY I-HOME ON A-110!!
sounds like a permissions problem. there is two different permissions. there is list folder content which lets you see what is in the folder. then there is read & execute which is needed. Are you launching myihome on your pc? if so try right clicking it and running it as admin.

I assume this is in the right click- folder options??? for the record network browser has the same problem!
