I hear nothing with MPEG 2.0 Audio

I have some DVD images from VHS digitalization that have a MPEG 2.0 audio channel. When I play these DVD images, I hear nothing through my 5.1 speakers conected by the optical output nor through the TV speakers conected to the Popcorn A-110 by HDMI output (the HDMI audio output is configured "Yes").

What can I do?

What happens if you set all audio options to PCM? Still no sound?

Danke schön. That solves the problem. It's extrange because I must to put all output to PCM. If DTS and/or AC3 are in RAW mode, there is no sound when the actual format is MPEG. I think that this is a bug. Is there a way to report this problem for be solved in the next firmware release?

Thanks for the tip but this is not an option in this case because I have about 40 DVD and I have no time to convert everyone.

Yes, I would actually say that it is a very very old bug and it seems nobody at Syabas is interested to fix it!

For me I tried a different workaround. I did a remux to MKV with MakeMKV but the problem is that the new PCHs have no sound for MKV with MPEG Audio inside, too.
Maybe it works with the old version, but I'm afraid not...
