Adding an icon in the Web Services menu
Hi,
When adding a Web Service there is a button for changing the icon that will be used for the webservices. In my case the button is "grayed out" and cant be used. Does someone know how to add/change the icon? Thanks |

I had created a new web service to call my cgi script to wake up my Windows Home Server. I had a nice little alarm clock icon that I successfully added by using "Change icon". But last night I rebuilt my C-200, i.e. replaced the noisy Seagate HD with an OCZ 60G SSD, and once I had everything back up and working I could not assign a new icon to my wakeup service. Anybody out there have an answer for this one??? RE: Adding an icon in the Web Services menu
You haven't locked your setup have you. That disables things like this as well IIRC.
Press setup and play if you have. I'll check mine as I did change some icons a couple of firmwares ago. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

It's strange because it was just working for me a week or so ago. RE: Adding an icon in the Web Services menu
Just tried to change an icon in webservices via the 'Menu' button and again don't have any problems.
I have just reinstalled the NMT Apps, I use an 8Gb internal USB stick for the NMT Apps. Also selected my internal SATA HDD as the Media Drive, agains through NMT Setup Wizard options. Could change the icon without any problem. This may be related to some other issues where the HDD permissions seems to change to only allow read and not write. See those posts in General and if possible try the earlier firmware or an alternative HDD. Hello I have the same issue here.
I have added two webservices and I cannot change the icon. Is there any way to force it? Like putting some "folder picture" ? Regards, Michel WIN7 Pro <==Gigabit Lan== A-400 ==HDMI==> Yamaha RX-V663 ==HDMI==> Sony KDL-46HX850 |
