MKV streaming problem PCH 110

Hi,
I have been Handbraking MPG-2 files to MKV. Funny thing is they work fine from the internal HDD but not when I stream over the network. The original files stream OK. The stream is fine for 30secs and then the audio drops completely and the video gets very very choppy.
Just one of those things?!
