With this (and previous) firmware I have lipsync problems after I have paused an mkv file.

Completely stopping and restarting the movie tends to solve the problem for me. The movie usually (for some reason not in 100% of the cases) resumes from the point where 'stop' had been pressed, so it's a fairly quick workaround.

For me the performance toward my NAS is most important, so I would like to optimize it for that. But I don't know the maximum bandwidth from the C200 towards the NAS and the latency will be <1 ms, but is 1 accurate enough? And what is the MSS (1460?)? Tricky matter with possibly big consequences. Would have been good if PCH would have put a automated measurement in the interface (should be possible or?).

Any good tips?

Can someone help me answer this. I had a 2.5" hdd but now wants to switch to USB stick, but will I be able to both have apps installed and BD live if I use the internal USB stick or should I use the outside USB ports?

So is the internal USB only for BD live and not apps?

Just to make sure, that feature is only applicable for the HD-swaptray right? and the disk in this tray should not contain the NMT apps.
Otherwise the C200 will crash.

I am also not brave enough to tryTongue

cheers
Tom

I already sucked it up and just pulled the door open Smile

My stuff still intact.

And yes I don't have NMT Apps installed on the disk so it was safe.

Small hiccup though. I setup NFS shares and when you swap drives, NFS server doesn't detect the changed drive. SMB will detect the swapped drive after a minute or so.

Basically the internal SATA behaves just like a USB detecting ejected drives.

Cool stuff!

Using an internal USB flash stick will work for both NMT apps and BDlive

The idea is, you can have an internal USB flash stick for NMT apps and BD live, and if you wish at the same time have an NTFS formatted 3.5" harddive for mediafiles in the tray and that way easily move the 3.5" harddrive back and forth from your C-200 to your PC to add media files quickly without having to install ext3 drivers on your PC

You dont have to add a 3.5" harddrive if you dont want to offcource.

BD-Live doesn't work as it should compared to previous firmware. To make sure I rolled back the firmware and tried my BD RIPS (2012, X-Files I want to Believe).

However full BD navigation works with just a USB stick.

Thanks for the answer Spawn and Dave.
I tried to use the internal with a 8 GB noname I bought, but after I installed the programs it wouldn't boot and got a purple screen sometimes. But when I removed the disc there was no problem. Have tried to delete the partitions and will try again soon.

But is it the whole BD's with BD live that won't work or is it only if I activate the BD live features on the discs?

Smile

No problemo loading new fireware. Shy

I always follow these rules:

1) stop all apps
2) shut down the C-200
3) 30 sec. power off (switch on the back)
4) power back on
5) insert USB with the new firmware (the 3 progs in the root)
6) start upload firmware, afterwards the C-200 reboots itself.
7) start upload apps, via USB, afterwards the C-200 reboots itself.
8) start the apps you need.
9) reboots ones more
10) Done!

I have done it like this 4 times with each new FW, and it always went good, so I stick to this method. Tongue

I have a problem!
I just tried to do my first update and IT didn't work.
I got an CRC error.

After the upgrade test my system only booted to the recovery page.

So I read in the wiki and downloded the recovery image.
BUT got stuck on 12%.
Tried again with a jumper on uart0, still stuck on 12%.

Then I tried to rename tha latest firmware to recovery-image.bin now I'm stuck at 11%. I guess it's du to the fact that this image is bigger.

So dear people, any hints what I do next? Is the box fried or what?

Edit:
Just read the thread when other people have the same problem, I guess I have to return the box to the supplier..

I am having similar problems to what Adragha reported earlier with the Bourne series of blu-ray disks not working with the latest firmware (I am able to select a language, but after the usual legal mesages it just locks up and requires a hard reset).

Also Gladiator disk 1 has the same problem, but disk 2 works fine.

Blu-ray ISO of Saving Private Ryan also does not work.

These all worked fine on the previous firmware.

Other blu-rays that I have work fine, including Stargate, Fight Club and Band Of Brothers.

At present I have an internal 2.5 hdd and have seen some references (Dave_D?) to BD-live working differently in this firmware and possibly needing a usb stick. Could this be the problem?

Hi @ all,

Where can I found a "public" list of bugs (new features) already reported?
So I can check on it if someone has already reported problem encourted.

Thx for your help.

Any good tips?

I put my tcp rwin to 8760 and 17520. I get speeds up to 21 MB/s, but after about transferring 400 mb the speed goes to 0 and the ftp server hangs.
After this I have to reboot the PCH because no connection is possible anymore through FTP/Telnet/etc.

FTP Client log:
--------------------------------------------
[R] STOR movie.mp4
[R] 150-using direct IO
[R] 150 Accepted data connection
[R] Socket Error: 10054: Connection reset by peer

[R] Transfer Failed!
[R] Connection lost: FTP van PCH-200 ADMIN

Anyone have good advice?
