Analog 5.1 works only 2 channels for mp3

In settings I set 5.1, not Stereo. But still have only 2 channels when playing mp3.
Please advise how to solve.

I don't believe Prologic IIx is enabled in any PCH firmware.

MP3 are 2 channel audio which is why you only get 2 channel. Your external audio receiver must support something like Stereo X2 or Pro Logic II in order to get audio on all speakers in a 5.1 set up.

Also that 5.1 setting in the NMT only works for the HDMI connection so if your going from the NMT to your TV over HDMI then from the TV to an external audio receiver over toslink you will only get stereo.

If your going from NMT to audio receiver over HDMI then from audio receiver to TV, then the audio receiver should have a Pro Logic II setting or a "speaker fill" effect.

The NMT only have 2 options, downmix to stereo or RAW transmitting.

That is OK. But I bought this NMT especially because I don't have receiver and it has analog 5.1 output. To connect it to my active speakers.
And I want it to work same as sound blaster inside PC - converting 2ch to 5.1.
Can it be?

Again, no. Unlesss the NMT has something like Pro Logic II to mux 2 channel audio to 5.1 it will not work. Looking at the device it claims 7.1 audio but are they activated.

I suggest you contact them directly to get more information on the ports
