Help with broken A-110 -- can I read HD from PC???

I believe my two year old plus A-110 has died. I get no signal although the HD is spinning, and when I put in a new HD, I can't get it working either.

Is it possible to read the files from the HD onto my PC? When I hook up the HD to a PC, computer management recognizes the HD but My Computer does not give me access to it.

Computer management only lets me convert it to a dynamic disk which I hesitate to do.

Is there a way to access the files from the A-110 HD from my PC?

If I bought a new C-200 or A-200, and poped in this HD from the A-110, would they recognize the files on the HD?

I tried to hook the A-110 with spinning drive to the computer through the USB out the back of the A-110 as well and the computer won't recognize it.

So to summarize, I can't see that A-110 any more over the network.

I can't see the A-110 on the TV through either HDMI or component cables.

When I hook up the hard drive directly to the PC, computer management sees it as a basic disk and the only option I have is to convert it to a dynamic disk, but My Computer doesn't show it as availabe.
