Hi Michael, please can you help me setup this wonderful program up properly as I have spent over 5 hours without any succes.
My setup is as follows : popcorn hour A100 with the following network shares set up F which maps to F drive on my main PC I which maps to I drive on my main PC J which maps to J drive on my main PC Bluray which maps to I drive on Kitchen PC Charlie's movies which maps to O Drive/Charlie's movies on Main PC MyMusic which maps to F/Music on main PC I already have movieflow setup on both PC's & is running absolutely perfectly. My problem is as follows I have added all the shares in as network shares under the Storage Tab & also tried adding them in using the mount option, have successfully created an index file on each of the drives & have outputted the builds to each drive. However when I click on the network shares on the PCH all I get is a static page which shows the Media Menu flow menu, but allows me to do nothing else. The menu does not move at all when selecting any of the arrow keys, it is just a static menu. Everything looks fine under the movieflow tab, it picks up all my movieflow jukeboxes, which I have also added in. I have also made sure that Daylight setting is switched off on the PCH. My PCH does have an internal Hard Disk, although this is only used for the NMT applications & does not have any media stored on it. I cannot see what I am doing wrong, even though it is probably something really obvious. Please can you HELP !!! put me out of my misery by pointing me in the right direction. As I am NOT there to see what you have and Have NOT configured it is Hard to Debug ... As it sound Like You have configured something wrong ... I just have never heard of Anything thing That Might Cause this Issue ... Please Zip up a copy of the complete media Menu Flow output Folder and email it to me at michael2t@gmail.com What Build date of Media Menu flow are You using ..? Hi Michael, thanks very much for taking time out to look at this issue for me. I have e-mailed you & attached the complete media Menu Flow output Folder for you to look at as well as screen shots of the tabs. I have also answered the questions you asked below.
What Build date of Media Menu flow are You using ..? 10/01/2010 What PCH player are you using and What Firmware Are You using ? A100 running Firmware version 01-17-100317-15-POP-402 (00-17-091216-15-POP-402 Apps). I am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Kind regards Darrell Darrell |

I am Sorry I missed this the First Time... You can Only Run One copy of Media Menu Flow ... The Index.htm can only point to one file... Having More than One Would cause a Lot of Problems ... Here is What I would like you to Try ... Got To The Root of All your Drives ... and Rename index.htm to index.old. Then Reboot The PCH ... Then With The Remote Manually goto a netwroked mapped Drive on the PCH where you have stored Media Menu Flow and Manually goto the Media Menu Flow Folder. Then Click on and Start media-menu-flow.htm . Make Sure You you can Move around on the screen and See the Icons Change and Then Post Your results. DO NOT Select Any thing Just Make Sure the Icons Change As You click the arrows on the Arrow Pad ... I Await Your Findings ... Michael T. Hello All ... Hi Michael, firstly many thanks for your quick response as I know your'e very busy. I can confirm that after following the steps you outlined & navigating manually to the media-menu-flow output folder which is on F Drive, then clicking on the media-menu-flow.html file the results are exactly the same. I bring up the menu immediately however as before it is static and I still cannot navigate between the different icons.

As Requested in My three emails to you did you load the Updated Media Menu Flow ? Did You then Delete the Storage Link's to Charle's and Delete The Link To Movie Flow for Charle's and then Re-add it with the New Media Menu Flow ... and Then Rebuild Media Menu Flow So the Changes are applied ? Hi Michael,
I can confirm that after making the changes you outlined & updating to the new build it all now works, so thanks very much indeed. It's just a shame that I have movie-flow on several different drives. This is because I have such a vast collection & I do not have enough room on 1 drive to store all my media. It would have been great to access everything but I understand that this is is not possible. I am also very interested in your Music Flow, as i have over 2000 albums & would love to be able to try it. I currently use MusicJukebox which works very well, but would also like to try your version. When do you think it will be available??? Many thanks once again Darrell Darrell |
