RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer for C200
I didn't try them all. Perhaps it might be a good idea that somebody collected all old and newer firmwares and nmt apps.
Especially the old and beta ones, those are interesting because they might have missing protections and so. Not saying they have, but you'll never know when a bug may come in handy

no i can tell you that the protection was already in the first firmware
, also take note that going back is often not possible because on the early builds it was most of the time stepstones where you cant go back anymore, only if you wanna kill your player!!!

But when I lived at my folks place. The ups driver would not even get out of his truck. He would grab the package whatever size and throw it out the door and over my parents gate. He was to lazy to walk up the stairs to the walk up gate. |

USB_DRIVE_C-1.BOOT was the correct name for my disk.
It wasn't working because telnetd had been compiled with wrong options. You will need to change BOOT to the volume name of your drive. |

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer for C200
No. The missing kernel support for PTY complicates that.
I got iperf running correctly. I compiled nc (netcat) which supports remote execution allowing a "poor man's telnet", but it didn't run. I need to investigate that. It's rather painful developing without telnet. I'm clicking on cgi links from Popcorn and piping output to a file - I'm not sure if anyone has a better scheme. |

nc's execute did not work for me, I just cooked up my own shell spawn, and it works enough to use it as telnet.

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer for C200
Not sure it needs that? In terms of setup, the C200 and A100 are setup the same. Couple of mountpoint changes, some new processes. Otherwise, in Unix land, they are the same. What you already know, will still work.

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer for C200
Just got my c200 today, nice box although did it need 13 screws and 2 screwdrivers to install the 2.5" drive?
Untill lundmans poor man shell is released, i'm using a shell script that would probably be the homeless guys shell. It just creates a cgi script of the entered command, sends it to the C200, and then executes it.Requires a sh compatible shell(linux/macos), wget, and by default it uses lftp to connect. Can run most commands, it wont remember if you change directories or anything though. Cant wait to see lundmans more appropriate shell Type quit or Ctrl-C to exit Code: #!/bin/shAutomated TV Downloads | On-Demand Network Shares | Faster PHP (lighttpd+fastcgi+apc) PCH-A100 | PCH-C200 | XBMC HTPC | Sharp Aquos 42D62U | Logitech Z-5500 |
