RE: SLVNL
Is the partition read only /NTFS?
No Is a directory to where CSI uploads, affected by the chmod or chown command? you can check the owner and permissions with telnet <NMT ip# or name> # ls -laR /share/Apps|more This is too complicated for me Sorry. Did not understand how to do that.In fact I haven't changed anything in settings for a while. So, how could the permissions have been changed? RE:writing permission. After every attempt of installing Transmission via CSI there are some installation files of Transmission remaining in the share root. |

RE: SLVN
I haven't met Windows 7 yet, but as a current Vista user I try to help.
->PS What user name do you read in the CSI settings / logs CSI in with ftp? What is selected in the "hardware" listbox and what do you read in the "server" field? Having read a post about the PCH-C200 and telnet, I am afraid, that telnet is not standard installed on the PCH-C200. ->PSPS besided the analyze-repair options described below, especially if you haven't installed much packages with CSI and opkg, you can create a new folder like "bak.Apps" and cut&paste the Apps folder contents to it with explorer and try if you can reïnstall the packages with CSI. I think that is the easiest. Which packages do you have installed? Some packages store data or settings somewhere in the Apps/local directory tree. For instance aMule. That data can be restored from the bak.Apps directory tree by moving (cut&paste) to the reïnstalled Apps tree. Analyze-repair: With telnet installed, go to "When telnet is installed". Without telnet, an option I see to analyze the problem is: Google for ext2fsd and cygwin and install those two on your PC. Connect your C200 via USB to your PC, while all other cables, except power, to the C200 are unplugged, so the C200 will act as usbslave, when turned on. Run ext2fsd (ext2 volume manager) Run cygwin type cd /cygdrive Check ext2fsd for the last of the three drive letters the C200 is mapped to. in cygwin type cd <that drive letter> ls -laR Apps >ls.txt Follow the next instructions from "Then google for notepad++". When telnet is installed: click start type cmd <enter> A window should appear with bright colored text on black background. In that window, type telnet <the machine name or the IP number of your NMT> the window should clear and something like "sh-3.00#" should appear, if telnet is installed on your PCH-C200; type ls -laR /share/Apps >ls.txt Then google for notepad++ and download and install that, if you haven't done it yet. With explorer go to the root of your NMT share. When your NMT is attached to your PC as usbslave, goto the third drive letter of your NMT. right click on the file named "ls.txt" in the appearing menu, click notepad++ select all text copy and paste it in the code frame Code: your ls.txtThen close notepad++ and delete the ls.txt file, to tidy up. RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.7.2 ** UPDATED DEC 28th **
It appears that the start_app.sh is not running at boot up (at least on my two c200's) with the newest firmware available.
I did factory reset before and after the firmware update. Then re-installed NMT apps. Then installed a couple of CSI programs. I also verified ftp server is working after reboot. But start_app.sh still doesn't seem to run. When I telnet into one of the c200's and navigate to where the file is and I type "./start_app.sh" I get an error "bad interpreter: No such file or directory." Both of my c200's get the same error. Any suggestions on what to do/try next? Thanks. James |

After the latest upgrade of NMT Software, CSI no longer worked on my C200. It got stuck on scanning what was installed on the drive.
I resolved this problem by: Code: cd /share/AppsAftrer moving the old AppInit out of the way, CSI now works again. The only difference seems to be that the new AppInit directory contains a "appinit.cgi" file which was missing from the old one. |

Just use set it as a C200 in the CSI settings. That works for my A300 (and very likely a C300 too).

RE: [CSI] Community Software Installer 2.7.2 ** UPDATED DEC 28th **
I've had exactly the same problems with CSI. Im not sure if what i did today was the fix but it is fixed and i can upload from CSI again.
What i did was download busybox from thread on this forum called "Busybox 1.14.1 for C200 (download)" - Sorry cant post links yet!!!!, unzip it, copy it to the PCH drive, copy it to /bin and run busybox --install. basically like it says in the article. Then, without rebooting my c300 (as the PCH "forgets" any changes after a reboot) i went into CSI and i was able to install lundman shell and busybox. |

jhmiller repository down, hopefully only temporarily!?
I had to remove the jhmiller_Repository200.xml to get CSI to launch properly. |

I have checked and double checked and my repo is good. Run csi again and see if it does update the CSI repo.
I last changed the file around a week ago, and no one else have reported this. My Popcorn Hour A110 Trakt.tv (TESTING)
