Almost New Popcorn Hour A-100 - dead not working... please help

I switched on my Pop Corn hour today after 2-3 months as I was away and after it shows "Loading" nothing comes after that. Please help! I have hardly used this.

Try removing all connections and try again. Try a different type of video connection (i.e. component if you're using HDMI). If nothing, try removing the internal HDD and try again.

If it shows loading - then its not dead
Dead means nothing happens at all

If it shows loading and then turn to black screen, then the video output are normally set wrong

Try this:

After the loading screen disappear and you get black screen - then press and release the "TV-mode" button on your remote control - wait 2-3 sec. and then press and release the "0" button on your remote control - then wait 2-3 sec while it switches to a supported video mode and the picture comes back

If this does not help - then you need to give us more information on how its connected and to what etc.

And as Bazrah suggest, removing an internal harddrive and network cable might also help.

And the stopped producing the A100 a lot longer than 2 months ago as well

i just created a thread like this, didnt want to hijack

but my lights shut off after about 10 seconds after i plug it in,
so its not a video output issue.
and i dont think its the HD.
its spinning and not even getting to the load screen.

but its not helping. Also there is no internal hard disk.

I can see a yellow light but when I even tried to power off using the remote it is not working. I have checked the remote on my friends pop corn hour and its works fine.

I am connecting through HDMI. I tried his PCH and it works fine. What shall i do?

Thank you!! It worked... well the strange thing is ... I have one PCH and one my brother.... now this one i had to setup the video to HDMI 720p... whereas in mine it is autoselected and works fine? Any ideas?

Auto-select is not advised just use it for first time screen display. give the exact capabilities of your display to the PCH and save the config..

I've had a similar problem to this with the big difference that I haven't been able to solve it - yet. There's another thread - unfortunately closed -
Green screen -
which is about the same problem that I've got. I have done all the steps from the wiki -
troubleshooting with composit settings -
but haven't got it to work. So I get the green screen stating Popcorn hour loading and then TV mode + 7 doesn't work after doing the setting with composit to HDMI - 720 p 60 hz. I've also tried with component but it seems as my PCH doesn't respond any more.
I would be most grateful for any help I can get to solve this problem.

Same here. Green screen. Funny that it actually lets you reflash it. Made in China truly shows ...
