No, my post is not related to yours.

My post is a "Beta Tester Request" for confirmation or disproof from beta testers.

I read your initial thread (actually I replied in it in the past).

I cannot replicate the issue you describe using RC1 (the current beta firmware).

I can eject Hard Drives in the caddy (using File Mode button) and re-insert it. It will take roughly about 1.5 minutes before I can see the drive on my Samba network (I'm using my A200's Network Browser).

That said. I can confirm however that NMT Apps on USB sticks do take a while to load the NMT Apps DEPENDING on the brand of USB stick. I had a 4GB Imation Cruzer, a 8GB Sandisk and a 16GB Transcend USB flash drive that I've used for NMT Apps and as I used the larger sticks over the months I've done changes, there has been noticeable difference in the loading time of NMT Apps upon bootup.

This is significant because the SMB service is part of the NMT Apps that resides on a USB stick.

Hence I would suggest you either do away with USB sticks or try smaller capacity (4GB should be enough) to see if it makes a difference in your setup.

Also do not use the USB stick as the Media Drive if you are running Torrent downloads. USB sticks are really crappy as a storage device for torrents and it just slows down the C200's firmware accessing the other NMT applications.

Please read the 1st post of the thread to understand the thread.

This isn't a support thread in the traditional sense.

RE: Beta Tester Requests
All I can tell you is that I buy retail BD and test them using my own BDROM drive attached to the C200 and using RC1/Beta it now plays more titles that have in the past reported to be problematic.

Titles which ask for a BD Menu language are now fixed in the latest firmware due for release.

This issue is more common for countries in Region B & C because Region A discs are the same ones released for the U.S.

When using Region B or C, many of these discs are authored to allow for more language options whilst Region A's are less problematic since they are natively English releases (with less requirements for foreign BD menu languages).

RE: Beta Tester Requests
Thank you for your reply.
This problem is not about BD titles or BD language.
This is about:
"No disc. Please insert disc!" problem with LG GGW-H20L model.

Please do one more test:
Restart the samba service and check if the hdd is shared.
Thank you

RE: Beta Tester Requests
Would it be possible to test if the HDMI passthrough works (for DTS or Dolby Digital 5.1) on the A-200?
So,
1. Set all audio preferences to PassThrough on the A-200
2. Connect to your TV (Samsung) via HDMI cable
3. Use optical cable to connect TV to Receiver
4. Play any movie which has DTS or DD
5. Test if the sound is DTS or DD.

On my TV steps 3-5 are not even needed, because the TV already notices if it is Dolby Digital or not... (not the case)...

RE: Beta Tester Requests
I have the following issue with the PCH C-200, it seems to be that the optical out is also sending out a signal when in standby, resulting to that my receiver keeps listening to the PCH over the optical out, instead of switching to the sound of my TV over HDMI.

My PCH has the latest 'official?' firmware release from 3 June 2011

I dropped this already in this thread: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=60821

If more information is required, please let me know

The current problems you have are currently being worked on, one thing you can try is to disable the default nmt Torrent Client which in my case solved the problem with playing movies that would cause the unit to stop responding while playing the movie.
