I have the HOME key (the house looking button) toggle me from movie wall to file browsing. If you are on any screen period and hit the HOME key you go to first movie on the movie wall, hit it again for file mode, and once again back to the movie wall.

You will have to rebuild for this to work but it's pretty simple.
