No A200/C200 firmware update for 2 months now
Are the guys at Popcorn happy with the current version or are there lots of changes rolled into one huge update coming soon?
If it's because there aren't many bugs to fix, then please work on some tweaking. Things I can think of are - Enabling Subtitles in the preferences menu does not auto start the subtitle when watching a movie, very annoying!! - Default subtitle tracks do not work! - No skip to previous or next track when Playing music - Starting a song sometimes takes you to the audio icon backdrop or just shows you the current folder you're browsing - Starting up my C200 and A200 I get a processing circle appearing in the left had corner, this happens 3 or 4 times. Anyone else have some suggestions for improvement? EDIT - Mistake on the title because it's almost been 3 months |

Hmmm, you should visit here more often (and read) so you know what's going on, rather then just looking for the next update. It will happen and many people are going to be very happy.
Will it fix everything, nope, but it will be a damn fine media player. C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. Remuxes, Captures and Transcodes done on a desktop running; Win7, Intel i7 hexacore processor with 24 GB ram, WD VR OS drive and a WD Black 2 TB data drive. |

if I can remove the 100Mb switch that I used to "protect" that C200 from the rest of my CAT6/GIGE network, then I'll be a happy customer.
Of course if they fix the darn 5.1 sound, I'll be even happier. C200 + 2Tb HDD + 6cm Fan : HDMI@LG42LC2RR, Optical@YamahaRXV530, Cat6@NETGEAR (fail!) A100 HDMI@LG32LF2510 Please fix C200 Audio Volume too low on 5.1 files issue. |

Skipping doesn't work for me when starting a song with the Play button. I'm on the latest version. I do have a universal remote though so will try tonight with the standard one in case it's causing issues. Thanks for the info |
