.MKV with AC3 audio but no sound in PCH
Hi guys!

I've read in many posts that we need to convert the audio in AC3 when the popcorn is directly plugged with HDMI cable for audio and video. I did this with at lest 3 different tutorials and I still have the no sound issue.

Here is my mediainfo output:

RE: .MKV with AC3 audio but no sound in PCH
It may be that your audio decoder (whether it's your player, an AVR or a TV) can't cope with a 640 kbit AC3 track.

Try re-sampling it to a lower bitrate (448 kbit).

Sounds to me like you are using a version of mkvtoolnix greater than 4.0.0.
at 4.1.0 it turns on audio header compression by default and at 4.2.0 it turns audio and video header compression by default. both of these should be turned of in the advanced settings tab. This affects nearly all media players out there and fixes are in the works. It was easier for me to just stick with 4.0.0
